Hello computer.
Decompile and distill Grand Theft Auto.
Make the game set in my hometown -- use Google Earth to reconstruct it in pixel-perfect detail.
Make the character me and have my spawn point be in the mansion I always look at on Zillow.
Review my chat memory and make every mission about my hopes and dreams.
Make it playable online so my friends can join.
When you're done, sell all my video games on Ebay and use that money to fund tokens for my next game.
basically it will require solving mechanistic interpretability as a bare minimum to make ai alignment into an engineering discipline rather than superintelligent animal husbandry
This new BioAI model from @GoogleDeepMind , called AlphaProtein Novo, is a very big deal. I mean, MASSIVELY big!
Why? Because it can design entirely new enzymes from scratch to catalyze chemical reactions, including reactions and substrates that nature has never evolved enzymes to handle!
Think about the implications. Drug discovery, pharmaceutical manufacturing, industrial chemistry, environmental cleanup, sustainable energy, agriculture, and materials science could all benefit enormously.
We are potentially entering an era in which we can design biological catalysts for the chemical reactions we want, rather than relying on what billions of years of evolution happened to produce.
And this is only the beginning!
@ericweinstein So long as it’s correct who cares about credit? I’m an MD, if it comes up with a cure for something, I don’t care at all if it’s signed ChatGPT
Ported Unity's Megacity (GDC 2019) to Three.js
✅ ~45 fps on a MacBook Air M1
✅ Full demo compressed down to 75 MB
❌ No live link because of Unity's asset license 😕
Someone is porting PS5 games to run natively on PC.
No emulator. AnyPS5 converts the game's code into a normal Windows or Linux program.
A real game has already booted to the main menu and into gameplay with sound.

all games are effectively open source atp, opus can reverse engineer any game effectively by faking controller/keyboard inputs and observing state! Do this with enough instances/compute you can reverse engineer any game!
@abelian_soup Im trying to get cellular automata in tiles of 4D permutahedra to learn how to solve ARC AGI, I suspect getting to represent induction problems through language in cellular automata is the way for a truly decentralized AI, like a mold in the internet
Saw Opus 5.5 build a LEGO Microduck and wondered what the 2,000 year old version would look like.
Asked Claude Code for a Roman mosaic instead.
It's 7,878 tiles, every one a real 3D stone, laid row by row the way a mosaicist would...
no image model, no video model, just code running in my browser. Zoom in on the eye!
