@jenhegna I can't stress this enough. The IT industry is a wreck in part because most people think only about how things *should* work, not how they might break or what happens afterwards. Training this into all IT staff will get us a long way toward reducing cyber cost and footprint.

@jenhegna Q2: Aside from formal curriculum and programs, inspire students to break stuff. See how it works. Make something physical OR digital do things it wasn't intended or designed to do. In hiring at entry level, demonstrating a passion through hobbies and home projects means a ton.

@jenhegna Q1: We must build cyber awareness (but not fear) AND cyber skills into our parenting and school curriculum. Every parent teaches kids to look both ways at a street and every kid using tech needs to know the internet is more like a busy street than a playground.
