Tesla did announce yesterday that their Unsupervised fleet is a lot bigger now, and we have seen wait times decrease significantly lately.

Tesla is using an RBG light bar on the front of the Cybercab that changes to different colors so riders getting picked up know which Cybercab is theirs.

It allows you to make phone calls, adjust climate, open the glovebox, search the control panel, turn on/off the heated or cooled seats, etc. The ambient lights also pulse when Grok is talking.

Grok이 실제 차량 기능을
음성으로 제어하기 시작했다.

이제 화면을 터치하지 않고도
말로 차량을 조작할 수 있다.

특히 중요한 건

9월 24일, 네바다 세미 공장.

이게 왜 의미가 있냐면, 순서가 반대이기 때문이다. 보통 테슬라는 행사부터 열고 “곧 양산”을 약속한 뒤 몇 년을 끌었다. 근데 세미는 반대다. 이미 4월에 양산 라인에서 실물이 나왔고, 그 다음에 행사를 연다. “만들겠다”는 쇼가 아니라 “만들었다”는 확인 행사라는 거다.

무엇을 보게 될까
핵심은 세 가지다. 첫째, 실제 생산 규모와 램프업 속도. 연 5만 대(북미 클래스8의 약 20%) 목표에 지금 어디쯤 왔는지. 둘째, 고객·수주. 펩시·DHL 너머로 어떤 대형 플릿이 붙었는지. 셋째, 메가차저 인프라 계획. 트럭보다 충전망이 진짜 병목이라 여기서 구체적 숫자가 나오면 진짜다.

왜 지금 중요한가
자동차 판매가 3년째 꺾이는 테슬라에게 세미는 ‘완전히 새로운 매출 축’이다. 로보택시·옵티머스가 “내년에”를 반복하는 동안, 세미는 드물게 약속한 타임라인을 지킨 프로그램이다. 이 행사가 그 신뢰를 굳히는 자리가 될 수 있다.

근데 초대장에 흥분하기 전에
행사는 스토리고, 숫자가 실력이다. 봐야 할 건 무대 연출이 아니라 그날 공개될 (1)실제 주간 생산 대수 (2)확정 수주 물량 (3)메가차저 구축 일정이다. 이 세 개가 구체적이면 진짜 전환점이고, 두루뭉술하면 또 하나의 멋진 영상일 뿐이다.
