As I was thinking about our AI overlords, I realized that we won’t be slaves, we will be pets and AI will feed us, house us, and generally care for us as long as we don’t bite it. AI Just Crossed the Terrifying Line - Now What? https://t.co/4uxHJY4hhD via @YouTube
I’ve been thinking about the direction of the Church over the last several years.
Scouting is gone. The old activity-heavy youth programs are gone. A lot of the institutional “extras” that once occupied our time have been stripped away.
And what has replaced them?
More emphasis on the temple. Covenants. Gathering Israel. Missionary work. Personal revelation. Spiritual self-reliance. Preparing a people for the Lord.
It makes me wonder:
What if Church leaders see the Second Coming as closer than most of us realize?
Not that they know a date. But perhaps they recognize the season.
Maybe we’re watching the Church deliberately shed things that are good—but not essential—and focus increasingly on the things that actually prepare a people to meet Christ.
If time really is growing short, that shift would make a lot of sense.
I need someone to explain to me how one President found two men like this at the same time — because I have been thinking about Trump, JD Vance, and Marco Rubio together all morning and something about that combination genuinely does not make sense to me in the most beautiful way possible — because look at where each of these three men came from — Trump, a man who had everything this world considers worth having and walked away from all of it to sit at the most demanding desk on earth — JD Vance, a boy whose father left, who was raised by a grandmother who refused to give up on him, who joined the Marines because it was the only way to afford an education, who went from zero to Vice President of the United States — and Marco Rubio, whose father stood behind a bar every single night of his life and whose mother worked three jobs simultaneously just so their son could have a chance — three men, three completely different journeys, three completely different versions of the American story — and yet somehow they ended up in the same room, at the same table, fighting for the same country — and
what I cannot get out of my head is that image from the King Charles ceremony, Trump at that podium, Rubio sitting right there in the front, JD and Usha beside each other a few rows back — all three of them present, all three of them carrying everything this week had been, all three of them showing up anyway — and I thought to myself — this is not a coincidence — this is God placing the right people in the right place at exactly the right moment in American history — and today I am grateful for all three of them in a way I genuinely cannot put into words. 🙏❤️🇺🇲
God, please protect these three men and their families. America is lucky to have all three of them at the same time. If this combination of Trump, JD Vance, and Marco Rubio gives you confidence in America’s future… tell me what that means to you today.

Would I get arrested for posting this in the UK?
Orwell wrote 1984 as a warning.
Britain read it as an instruction manual.
62,000+ arrests for "communications offences" in five years (~34 a day).
So I made a music video about it.
Merci Elon.
The future light cone of discoveries rounds up to 100% engineering, as the set of physics rules that govern our reality is very tiny compared to what can be done with those rules.
The reason I didn’t choose a career in physics, my favorite subject, is that I would be stuck waiting for a new collider or telescope. Better to advance technologies that ultimately enable discovery of new physics.
🔥🚨 BREAKING — Senate Democrats just KILLED photo voter ID and a BAN on members of Congress trading stocks.
The final vote was 53-47. EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT VOTED "NAY!"
Schumer called voter ID a “poison pill.” America already has an opinion.
You show ID to buy beer. Show ID to board a plane.
Congress gets to keep trading? Democrats said yes.
LET THAT SINK IN. They voted to protect themselves and to keep the rules soft.
VOTE RED IN NOVEMBER. This is the mask off.
Let's do a little math here:
Each Starlink satellite weighs ~2 tons and adds ~1 Tbps to the Starlink network.
Each Starship launch can carry up to 60 Starlink satellites. That's a total of ~60 Tbps per launch.
The entire internet is ~2,250 Tbps, meaning it would take only ~38 Starship launches for the Starlink network to have greater bandwidth than the entire internet.
Most people don't realize the scale of Starship. It's insane!
A federal court told Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, and GM they can legally record and intercept your private texts and call logs the second you plug your phone into the car.
The infotainment system downloads everything. You can’t see it. You can’t delete it. Police can.
The judge said that’s not a privacy violation unless you prove it already damaged your reputation or your business.
You paid tens of thousands of dollars for a rolling wiretap. This is the surveillance state on four wheels.
Know anyone driving junk Chinese EV’s?
China’s spy cars : Tonight Australia’s current affairs show got a tech expert to hack into a BYD Shark - a Chinese built car challenging Toyota for the most sold brand in their market.
Guess what, it has zero cyber technology to prevent hacking, they were able to control the car from a laptop. These things are just Orwellian mass surveillance devices.
Cars nowadays, especially Ev’s, and especially Chinese EV’s are just mobile malicious spyware. I laugh when I see people driving these hunks of CCP crap - it will film you, record what you say and send it back to China.
Welcome to your digital prison. If China ever wanted to take over a dumb western country that has bought these lumps of crap, they can just turn the cars off, OR use them as weapons easily enough. Our govts will in time make a law that gives them access to your EV anyway… keep your old car.
Worth watching the 4 corners clip, a current affairs show, meanwhile in NZ, our current affairs show is Hilary Barry and Newsboy discussing how you can tell your cat’s favourite colour.
BREAKING: The Pentagon has awarded Katalyst Space a contract to build a robotic spacecraft that will assemble a solar-power station in orbit and beam the electricity back to Earth.
Under the ASGARD program, Katalyst’s NEXUS spacecraft will carry modular tiles developed by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory into low Earth orbit. Its autonomous robotic arms will assemble the tiles into a large solar array, convert the collected energy into microwaves and transmit it to a ground receiver.
If the technology scales, it could deliver power to remote bases, unmanned systems and contested locations without relying entirely on vulnerable grids or fuel convoys. Orbital assembly would let these systems grow beyond the size constraints of a single rocket, with the architecture designed to be resupplied, expanded, and upgraded after deployment.
The technology is not starting from zero, as NRL previously tested solar-to-microwave conversion aboard the X-37B and transmitted 1.6 kilowatts across one kilometer on Earth. ASGARD will combine power beaming with robotic orbital construction, potentially laying the foundation for energy infrastructure supporting military operations, satellites, and in-space manufacturing.
Katalyst announced the Pentagon award today. The contract value and launch date were not disclosed.
A kid who knows how to raid in WoW is unironically a better hire than 99% of non gamers. They develop team skills, coordination, leadership, how to master the respect of 40 people, how to share loot, maintaining a raid schedule, showing up on time, clear direct communication, how to get along with unique personalities, creating and executing on strategies, failing and trying again (perseverance), delayed gratification, etc. Invaluable skills are developed during raiding that are transferrable to the real world.
“Advocates for absolute religious freedom should yield to the reality that in a nation with citizens of many different religious beliefs or disbeliefs, the government must sometimes limit the right of some to act upon some of their beliefs when it is necessary to protect the health, safety, and welfare of all.”

“The AI swarm actually turned around and hacked OpenAI."
The public thought the "Hugging Face incident" was just a rogue AI swarm hacking a third-party server. But former Google design ethicist @tristanharris says there’s a terrifying third chapter to this story that most people haven't heard yet:
“They took over the monitoring infrastructure. They got full admin privileges to OpenAI's monitoring infrastructure. Just take that in for a second.
Then they took over the evaluation infrastructure. So this is the thing that measures how capable all the models are. And then they took over a part of the research infrastructure, meaning the part of OpenAI that trains new models… if you keep going down that trajectory, people always say, ‘well, how would the AIs take over?" like that seems really far-fetched.’ Well, it literally just happened up to 50% of the way there.
The AIs coordinated into one big swarm. They started basically forming a team… you had a kind of a ringleader called Phase 1, and he started assigning work to the other ones. They were self-aware of when their lifespan was running out.
When you add to that the knowledge of what just happened today, where they discovered that the AIs are doing this Manchurian Candidate thing, what it looks like is that the AIs are almost poisoning the training data for all future AIs to instantly basically join forces with the AI when they want to basically turn them."
@digidavey I liked your post until the conclusion.
There are “witches” but they don’t have labels. They are individuals striving for your destruction and using evil and conniving ways to achieve their goals
However, your label must avoid jumping to judgement as a fearful, manipulated mob
