I've had some really lovely feedback on my mentoring sessions. If you, or someone you know, are interested in transitioning to a career in UX Research, get in touch! π π€
Back to @Spotify βΒ the discovery and social and interaction patterns are so good. Props to @SpotifyResearch and @spotifydesign π π π
I hope @Apple buys 'em. Admitting Spotify has eaten your lunch would be a good move at this point.

My new UX Research consultancy focuses on identifying product features that will sequester carbon by reducing energy consumption WHILE improving consumer experience.
Curbcut effect in action: product loads faster, lower overall network load, and improved perceptual performance.
HBD @IAmKRSOne you are such a beautiful human! π₯° π₯° π₯°

Minor Threat mood f'real "you're an adult, but you act like a child. don't even try to explain." π
As the person who created it⦠shows the massive hole in our design philosophy: Optimizing for ease-of-use does not mean best for the user or humanity.
UX is locally moral but globally amoral. It asks "how do I make this ergonomic" not "is it ergonomic to our values or society"
@theyoungjoo I found the advice in "Raising a Sensory Smart Child" to be super valuable for myself and my kid, but the real gold was here: https://t.co/MICiUaFpBM
Things that work for us include: rocking, hammocks, laying face down, and laying upside down.

When someone mistreats you, help 2 people.
You'll prove to your subconscious that you didn't deserve the mistreatment because you're a good helpful person. And you'll turn a negative into a net positivity for the world.
@jesseddy SUPER cooool! π
We are doing something similar for rapid testing, in that we have designers taking notes in Figma alongside designs while UXRs run sessions.
A Figma component flags for β βοΈ or π§ insights.
From there it's a quick jump into affinity diagramming and analysis.
