Worldview: Each generation has its own worldview. Its based on the combination of prevalent social, political structures and the new ideas and forces of that time. There is generally a conflict of the two and a resolution is achieved which becomes a more refined version.
Schema: the mental structure of ideas. We use this framework to represent an understanding of the world - and to organize and assimilate new information we get. We have to update our schemas when we encounter new information.

Learning is adding things to your long term memory.
The act of reading(or listening/watching) the study material is loading the idea into your working memory(think of it as RAM in a computer). When you study something, that knowledge is active in your working memory.
