It's surreal to think how much a video game could impact my life. I grew up playing Counter-Strike, the game not only taught me about the importance of practice and hard work but, also fundamentally changed my perspective on digital collectibles and currency.

I earned my first dollars as a teen in the CS economy, learned to code and run servers, and the game eventually led me to learn about cryptocurrency, bringing me to dive down that rabbit hole.

Many years later, everything came back full circle when I founded @Dupe_fi with the goal of using blockchain to improve the experience of trading CS items.

Today, after a lot of hard work and sleepless nights, we announced the completion of our pre-seed round. We'll be using this capital to build the safest and best overall marketplace experience for gamers starting with CS2 and later expanding into other games.

I am humbled and beyond grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who placed their trust in me and believed in what we were building.

It's now on us to prove the thesis of Dupe and to continue shipping, working towards the endgame we envisioned for Dupe from the very beginning.
