These stories are so tragic. If ONLY the FDA would insist on black box warnings for all birth control and doctors took the time to really read the prescription information about EVERY drug someone is on when treating them. How else can they properly assess a situation?
Stephanie’s Story – Depo Injection
Orthopedic doctor who diagnosed hip fracture ordered my first DEXA scan. My results were shocking. So not only did I have a fractured hip but I also now had Osteoporosis and a 6 week old baby.

@Madeline_Pine Endo/adeno sufferer here. I did feel empowered, until the Mirena IUD caused more problems than my period ever has. Nobody cares though - there is definitely the expectation to just deal. Next stop for me is a hysterectomy. Periods are bullshit.

@IUDAlert When is the natural womanhood’s round table discussion? Can you provide a link and tag me so that I might share it on the Inner U Diagnosed site and Facebook page
Thoroughly enjoyed this conversation with Nicole Jardim discussing the IUD. Have long been linking her numerous articles about a variety of adverse effects and it is an honor to be invited to her podcast.
