@mikemcalister@richtabor What do you think about a weekly Zoom session everyone could bring their micro-frustrations with Gutenburg? We can stack them up and knock 'em down.
@carlhancock The rules were somewhat a hassle, but not too bad when the WordPress Foundation was giving real $$$ to support the Camp. What annoyed me the most was attendees complaining about parking, food, schedule, noise, swag, etc. Most don't understand it's 100% volunteer organized.
I was graduating high school in '03, playing around in Dreamweaver, experimenting with Flash. Little did I know something was being born so important to my future. HBD, WordPress. π₯³
23 looks good on WordPress. π
Since May 27, 2003, WordPress has been blogging, building, publishing, shipping, translating, theming, plugin-ing, and making the web a little more wonderfully weird.
Happy birthday, WordPress. π
I've been involved in some pretty nasty lawsuits, nothing on this scale, but eventually it starts hurting everyone involved. For the sake of WordPress, open source, and the future of the ecosystem, I hope this gets resolved in a way that doesn't leave the project, the people, and the teams completely damaged by the outcome.
I have held my tongue for 15 months, but I can't abide or normalize the legal violence that @wpengine is inflicting anymore.
