Chinese company Unitree reveal their "all terrain" wheeled robot.
The military potential for this technology is obvious.
Europe is so far behind China, its scary.
Karen Uhlenbeck is the first woman to win the Abel Prize in 2019 for her pioneering work in geometric analysis.
Born in 1942, this American mathematician linked partial differential equations with geometry and physics in profound ways. Her studies of minimal surfaces, like soap bubbles, and harmonic maps led to the 'bubbling' phenomenon, a key tool for dealing with singularities. She also developed important analytic tools for Yang-Mills gauge theory, impacting our understanding of fundamental forces in physics.
Uhlenbeck broke barriers for women in math and is professor emerita at the University of Texas at Austin, with ties to the Institute for Advanced Study.
What surprises you most about how her soap-bubble math ended up shaping ideas in particle physics?
I appreciate all the prayers and those that reached out. I haven’t had a lot of time to respond to everyone but we are doing ok. Lots of tests happening ATM. We have been doing an EEG for hours now so I told him it’s Neuralink, and they are supercharging his brain right now. He thought that was pretty cool 😂

@OnyxBoox Hi, does the new 2024 Note Max come with the micro SD Card expansion slot? (128GB is just not enough to run some Android Device Apps and carrying many docs/eBooks...
Imagine having a conversation with a @Tesla_Optimus
I had a full conversation with the Tesla bot. The future is here. Can’t wait to see these around the streets, inside homes and in factories.
ChangAn is one of the top automakers in China. In 2024 Collaborative Conference of ChangAn Global Partners on January 16, CEO Zhu Huarong said all automakers including ChangAn are losing a lot of money making NEVs and only a handful of NEV players are profitable. This is not a fair game & unsustainable for the industry & supply chain unless everybody becomes profitable.
If big Chinese automakers can’t make & sell EVs profitably, how likely can foreign automakers make money from their EVs?
