It’s important to remember that Mark’s departure was due to the "graduation" model NCT Dream used back then, not because of a made-up scandal or a personal choice. Comparing his case to Seunghan or Heeseung doesn't really work because the circumstances are entirely different.

It seems like some fans use the 'no longer an idol' label to avoid acknowledging the strength it took for Mark to leave.
Leaving a major label like SM and a group like NCT isn't a loss, it's an act of self-advocacy.
He prioritised his happiness over a system that isn’t working for him anymore.
