My fern has a dead center clump but I'm scared to hurt the living clusters. I've got an aloe that has grown so big the pot falls over and now it's growing sideways. I want the kind granny of the club to show me how to do this stuff that mom didn't.

One thing I'm looking forward to with the new job: a stable schedule. I was able to work one out with the last manager but he quit and nothing has been stable since. I just want to be able to plan taking my poor plants to a garden club meeting and asking for help repotting them.
