@Polymarket Slippery slope, this is like the same argument for free speech. If you ban one word at some point you will ban all of them. We are going to end up having to provide identification for everything we do online. This is scary.

Today we arrested a group of teens in West London for illegal use of TikTok.

They were filming dance videos.

When the raid team arrived on the scene one of the teens protested.

We're just dancing, it's just for fun.

Just for fun?

Nothing fun about breaking the law.

Also you're a minor so opinion is invalid.

During the investigation we discovered further violations.

Explicit song selection and dancing without cultural clearance (they were practicing a traditional dance called "the douglas").

All five teens have been charged with digital terrorism. with intent to appropriate culture.

Devices seized. Accounts terminated.

This is why enforcement matters.

There are no exceptions.

Britain will be safer for it.

@The_Drop_Fox I don't see any country with these laws surviving more than another 10. I sure as hell won't be sitting quietly if this crap ever reaches the US.

So I'm downloading this file, and, it's only 2 gigabytes. But I'm using the free download, so, it's supposed to take like 8 hours. I'm 5 hours in, and only ✋just🤚 cracked halfway through. I have been awake for 26 hours now.

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. says the government plans to ban violent online games found to desensitize children to violence.

“I think we should ban them. And we will ban them,” Marcos said.

He added that the government will first study which games have that effect before introducing any ban.
