The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Director-General, Dr. Adebowale A. Adedokun, FCIPS, has been honoured with the Blueprint Public Procurement Reformer Award 2025 by Blueprint Newspaper for his transformative leadership, institutional reforms, and commitment to transparency, accountability, and safeguarding public funds.
The award was presented during the 8th Blueprint Public Lecture, Impact Series and Awards held on August 18, 2026, in Abuja, with the theme “Security Challenges and the Integrity of Nigeria’s 2027 Elections.”
Dr. Adedokun dedicated the award to Nigerians committed to national development and the hardworking staff of the BPP. He also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to national transformation.
The event featured prominent government officials and national leaders who stressed the importance of security, credible institutions, responsible media, national unity, and collective responsibility in ensuring peaceful and credible 2027 elections.
Other distinguished recipients of the Blueprint Impact Awards included the CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso, Zenith Bank GMD/CEO Adaora Umeoji, and Governors Ahmed Aliyu, Dauda Lawal and Peter Mbah, among others.
The president has given a mandate to extend the dividends of democracy to all demography.
