The real leader of the Republican Party just drew a red line.

President Trump is done waiting on Senate Majority Leader John Thune, who continues to refuse to push the SAVE Act or nuke the filibuster as the President has ordered.

Trump didn’t hold back: “Jerky John Thune needs to remember that I allowed him to be elected Majority Leader, and I can just as quickly take it away.”

He’s right. At least 41 Republican senators will vote exactly how Trump tells them to — because they recognize who the actual leader of the party is.

“If he wants to keep his job, he’ll do as he’s told.”

The era of weak Republican leadership is over. Either Thune delivers, or he’s finished.
