It ill beseemeth men to centre all their efforts on their own selves; rather must they ceaselessly strive for the betterment of the lives of one another.

@OJoelsen I had to write to Sermitsiaq to encourage their journalists to ask that last question. I was surprised no one was asking whether the submarines presence was known or not.
Press Briefing:
Prime Minister of Greenland says the question of sovereignty is a red line that will not be crossed - indicating that Greenland will not give up any part, portion or pocket of land to another country.
@Teoyaomiquu Without pretending to know what everyone here thinks, I would say, generally, the thought is “all in good time”. We know it will happen one day in the future, and see the things we still need to develop in our society before being fully ready
@pennsylabia@DeItaone He was stating how Greenland historically has always been willing to collaborate with others and will continue to seek good collaborations in the future.
@pennsylabia@DeItaone Correct. The translator on TV used the phrase “open for business”, this was not the sentiment or meaning from the Prime Minister.
@DeItaone You are twisting her words. She did not say “must stop”. Claiming this escalates the tension in people’s minds. Read her statement yourself. She uses the phrase “strongly urge the United States to stop”
@BRICSinfo You are twisting the Danish prime ministers words. Read the statement yourself. A “warning” implies there will be repercussions if the US doesn’t stop. There was no warning.
And yes, we in Greenland do experience the US statements as threats FYI
If any nation should attempt to invade or otherwise take over Greenland🇬🇱 I am asking that all other nations arise and unitedly prevent the aggressor from doing so
I think that is fair to ask
