@asemota When I saw this tweet I understood why it will be difficult for a poor man’s child to be a billionaire. If you got wind of this move 3 months earlier and somehow convinced investors to pool money into a data centre, in the next 2 years you’ll be valued at atleast 7billion naira.
@domchibuike@elcarimbedis@SirDavidBent I learnt the secret to that in boarding school. You accept the pain mentally and after the first stroke the rest are just repetitive.
I once had a friend who thought her brother was a great guitarist. Couldn't fathom why he wasn't a star. Then she started dating a sound guy. One night he played her a song & said, That's your brother. Then he played another & said, That's Eric Clapton
I think about this a lot.
Same man that said he only employs a non northerner for temporary positions waiting for a northerner to qualify and take the job? We glorify our past leaders too much
APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda: “I know someone from my village whom Ahmadu Bello Sardauna took abroad to study and then brought back and placed in the police to become the first officer with a degree. Sardauna knew he was a Christian. I don’t know why people focus on the politics of religion in the north in this era. For me, if you want to become a leader in the North, you have to follow in the footsteps of what our leader, our father, Sardauna, did in the North.”
@baba_Omoloro Rome was not kicked out of England, they converted the kings to Catholics and left them in peace. They remitted to the empire for a very long time until the Anglican Church was formed. Same with most of its European territories.
@baba_Omoloro The Roman empires didn’t fall. It became the Roman Catholic Church. They figured it was worthless fighting wars for resources when they could be freely given. Imagine the headquarters of the Roman empire moved far from Rome for a long time before the total extinction.
