@TheJeremyHaynes Rubbish. I've got a damaged liver, pancreas and enlarged spleen. Not got the energy to do anything right now. Not my fault I get ill during a pandemic otherwise I'd be working at home.
Anyone talking about how ‘fat’ they’re going to be after this pandemic is now dead to me.
If you get out of this alive, you’re privileged.
Also: Gaining weight isn’t and never has been the horrible, shameful thing you’re making it out to be.
DO BETTER PLEASE
All hail @BootstrapCook who is doing such a great job answering questions (tagged #JackMonroesLockdownLarder) about what to cook with the random ingredients in your kitchen.
I mean, I’m always happy to respond and help - we all are - but the author of #TinCanCook is the One!
@dr_amyjaneb Apparently my home town in South Wales was very busy. People queueing for chips. It was like a bank holiday weekend apparently. Some people are morons.
Funny how all of these ‘low-skilled’ jobs (cleaners, delivery drivers, retail assistants) that so many look down upon are now on the frontline holding society together whilst we work from home.
Those jobs aren’t low-skilled, they’re essential and they should be paid as such.
So a quarter of a million dead in the UK is now a conservative (no pun intended) estimate. Johnson, you have beyond made a cunt of it. What a legacy. Voters, please, no more self serving arseholes because of their entertainment value. Pick able people who can lead.
YouTube recs for those self isolating. Martin Zero for Manchester history videos. Post 10 for someone who clears drains for fun to prevent flooding (bonus animal and urbex content). Foxes Afloat for a couple vlogging life on a narrowboat. The Sims 4 fans might like GrayStillPlays
