On a personal note I’d like to thank so many great Flyers fans who have prayed for my recovery, checked in on me and provided me with strength. I was hoping this season wouldn’t be affected by more cancer treatment but when I had the reoccurrence it wasn’t in the cards. Now that I have had the surgery and am considered “Cured” next season will have to be that. Even though I had a reoccurrence after Hockey Fights Cancer Night, that is
Still the memory that will live with me most. It was a true honor to be asked, do it and do so with my wife and kids at the game. As great as
Knocking out the Pens in OT was, HFC night was a Monumental night
Complete with a Sanheim OT game winner.

One more surgery in the week or so now that the season has ended and I will be on my way.

If Gavin McKenna would’ve stayed in junior and played in the #WHL this season, he would’ve had 140 points and the hype surrounding him would have been comparable to Connor Bedard. He had 51 pts in 35 games as a 17/18 year old playing in a way more competitive league. I don’t think people understand how good #NCAA hockey is.

The #Flyers all over the Pens. Hathaway with a pk goal. What a play by Tippett to get him the puck. Abused 3 Pens like a rag dolls to hang on to the puck and make the play. Almost felt bad for Letang, there. Almost!
