Before the speeches, before the flags, before the propaganda the data itself delivers the verdict.

Seventeen years of economic history distilled into one picture Western leaders prayed you’d never examine closely.
While Europe swore Russia was “on the brink of collapse,” the blue line climbs, through sanctions, through war, through historic Western hostility into industrial expansion and strategic resilience.

And Ukraine? The red line sinks long before February 2022. Not because of Russia — but because of corruption, looting, capital flight, oligarch predation, and a political class that treated the state like a personal bank account for its oligarch class and Western masters.

This is the chart of a country eaten alive from within and then used from abroad.

So how is any of this “winning for Ukraine”?
It isn’t. It never was.

The only people who “won” were the ones who stole everything that wasn’t nailed down while Biden and Europe sent weapons, money, and its own credibility into a fire they helped start.

Russia didn’t bury Ukraine, its patrons and its elites did.

Because remember Istanbul in 2022:
Russia and Ukraine had a peace deal drafted. Territories settled (only Donbass and sans Novorossiya - much gentler terms for Ukraine). Neutrality agreed. Security guarantees in motion. Hundreds of thousands of lives could have been saved.
Ukraine’s economy, already fragile, could have stabilized. But that would have ended the gravy train.

Then London arrived, wagging the finger of a cosplaying empire, and told Kiev to walk away. Not for Ukraine’s benefit but for Britain’s fantasy of “weakening Russia" and continuing the lucrative war racket. Kiev obeyed. And Ukraine began its descent from on the chart you’re looking at now.

Fast forward to late 2025. Keir Starmer repeats the same double game: publicly offering “pivotal talks,” privately preparing to to wage the sequel to the Steele dossier on Trump, and give the puppet Zelensky his new marching orders, similar orders that killed the Istanbul deal.

Europe sacrificed Ukraine the way it sacrificed its own industries, farmers, and energy security: with moral posturing, no strategy, and ordinary Ukranians and Europeans to pay the price.

They told Ukraine to fight “to the last Ukrainian.” Now they tell Europeans to pay to the last euro

So ask the only question that matters:

Who benefited?

It wasn’t the Ukrainian people, they lost their land, their economy, their population, their future. It wasn’t Europe, it lost its energy base, its strategic autonomy, its prosperity, its credibility. It wasn’t the soldiers, they were thrown into a war that had a diplomatic exit years ago.

It was the corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs and their European patrons who looted the country on the way down. It was the Western contractors and consultants who treated Ukraine like a casino. It was Western European governments who needed a proxy to distract from their own decay. It was the political class that needed a stage to perform heroism they never intended to pay for.

The graph is not economics. It is a confession.

It shows exactly who lived, who died, who looted, and who lied.

And no amount of spin will ever erase the fact that the red line is the cost of Western psychosis masquerading as strategy and the blue line is the price of ignoring reality.
