14 year heroin addict who sounds like he’s gargling ground glass & has a serious case of the shakes spews lies about vaccines as the president sleeps & shits himself while the NodBot (no one knows who or what the fuck she is) nods & sways. Fucking surreal.

Short-sighted, philistine, economically illiterate! Creative industries contributed £226b to UK economy in 2023 & employed 2.4m people. More generally, Arts, Humanities & Social Sc matter but also lead to jobs, as @BritishAcademy_ SHAPE research proves! https://t.co/59WIDQVnn0
I missed this yesterday, and I can't believe we're even debating this, to be honest.
The lionisation of a convicted racist.
Are we to just accept that this person is now a credible social commentator, after spending ten months in prison for inciting racial hatred?
I'm not crazy, am I?
The sway of GB News and Farage mean that we're totally cool with a vile racist appearing everywhere in our media and socials?
“Mass deportation now, set fire to all the f'ing hotels full of the bastards for all I care … if that makes me racist, so be it.”
It does Lucy. It does make you a racist. And the judge agreed.
It does indeed feel dystopian that you are calling for the punishment of a man for his tweets in the past.
What's the difference between your crime and his tweets? Because he isn't white? That's the only possible reason for this I can fathom.
Because otherwise, you and the ludicrous Free Speech Union would be all over this, calling them 'hurty words' and demanding he be left alone.
Pick a fricken lane.
🚨 This is what Brexit divergence actually looks like.
🚜 Farmers didn’t ask for lower standards.
🤷♀️Consumers didn’t vote for higher cancer risk.
☠️🤢🤮Brexit delivered both.

She wrote a beautiful essay about facing cancer for the New Yorker that also condemns RFK Jr. for destroying the same healthcare system that she was relying on.
So @Nigel_Farage reports Abdel-Fattah to @TerrorismPolice for 12 yr old tweets.
Yet endorses this vile woman and refuses to apologise for his own words. He should be reported and his citizenship removed. Can go and join his mate Bannon in the US.
Who agrees?
I genuinely cannot get past the galactic levels of hypocrisy here.
Farage wanted to take Lucy Connolly — a person convicted of inciting racial hatred via social media — to the US, to push his, so called, free speech agenda.
He put her on a literal stage to discuss the imaginary two tier justice system they created.
And now … he wants the citizenship removed of a man for some very old tweets [for which he has apologised, unequivocally*].
Should we play Spot the Difference to work out why Farage is actively promoting the white lady racist, and demanding deportation of the brown British man?
Unadulterated racism on display for all to see by Farage.
Let's not even get started on Robert Jenrick's statements … seeing that successive governments have campaigned for his release.
Advocacy for his release was a long-standing diplomatic priority under successive governments, as he took British citizenship in 2021 — under the Conservative government.
I don't remember Jenrick or Farage kicking up a fuss about that.
*to head off the usual suspects — of course I don't endorse what he said, but in the far-right world, 'hurty words' should not be prosecuted. Right?
I really didn’t expect this to get so much engagement. But I have been in a dark place lately (I’m always in a dark place tbh but lately???) and on my hardest night I stumbled on this video and it did something for me and I hope it helps someone too. You’re not alone ❤️
