I get not playing Sat and Sun every weekend. But 1-2 rounds per months (where I am now with 2 kids under 4) is hardly abandoning or deprioritizing my kids. I show up better with that rather infrequent outlet/keeping up a hobby. 2 rounds per month still leaves me with 175 hours per month with my kids. I don’t think the incremental 6-12 hours makes or breaks things. Plus I’m getting them into it with me ASAP.
