In a dense forest, there lived a donkey. For some time, he started going to the small animals of the forest and saying, “The lion, the king of the jungle, has now become old and weak. He is of no use now. He can neither protect you nor solve your problems. So, you should make me your king.”

Slowly, the donkey became so confident that he started openly abusing the lion, the king of the jungle. Many times, he challenged the lion and said, “If you have courage, come and fight me!”

But the lion was busy protecting his people and keeping order in the jungle. He heard the donkey’s words but ignored him and did not give him any importance.

The donkey understood the lion’s silence as his weakness. His pride increased even more. He started saying to the other animals, “See! I openly challenge the lion, but still he does not come to fight me. This clearly means that he is afraid of me.”

One day, the lion’s minister, the elephant, immediately went to the lion and said, “Your Majesty! This donkey is falsely speaking badly about you everywhere and falsely praising himself. He is calling you weak, while one blow of your paw can finish him. If you give me permission, I will crush this foolish donkey right now.”

The lion said calmly, “No, Minister. We should not fight with a small animal like the donkey and make ourselves look small.

Think, if I go to fight with the donkey, some animals in the jungle will say that the lion has become a cruel king and cannot even tolerate the words of a small animal.

And if the donkey is killed in this fight, his supporters will make him a hero. Then other small and big animals will also follow the same way to become famous. Everyone will try to challenge the king to prove themselves important.

An Informed Voter, Not a Supporter
I am not a BJP supporter. I am an informed voter.
I have voted for the BJP because, at different points, I believed it was the better option for India. That does not make me a party loyalist, a bhakt or a political shareholder.
I can acknowledge the achievements on infrastructure, digitalisation, national confidence and India's global standing while questioning unemployment, inflation, corruption, institutional independence, civic governance and the quality of public services.
I can support Hindutva without supporting every act committed in its name. I can be a Hindu nationalist and still oppose needless polarisation. I can admire Modi and still say when he gets it wrong. I can vote for the BJP without surrendering my right to criticise it.
A government is not entitled to permanent loyalty because the alternatives are weak. That is precisely when scrutiny becomes more important.
I don't want slogans. I want jobs, accountable governance, faster justice, cleaner cities, better schools and hospitals, safer streets, institutional integrity and consequences for incompetence and corruption.
The BJP may remain my electoral choice. But it does not own my conscience.
I am an informed voter, not a political employee. My vote is for India, not for a party. My loyalty is to the country, not to any leader.

The Bombay High Court Clerk exam was conducted today in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, where students reported technical and server issues.

Yet Dipke is abusing the Maharashtra government over an exam conducted by the High Court, not the state government.

Authorities have said an inquiry will be conducted before deciding the way forward. But Dipke wants a written re-exam assurance today itself and threatens to sit there for 30 days.
