Route Tables 🧠🌐

A subnet doesn't magically know where traffic should go.

The route table decides.

Think of it as the traffic rules for your subnet:

📦 Destination: 10.0.0.0/16
→ Local

🌍 Destination: 0.0.0.0/0
→ Internet Gateway

🔒 Private subnet
→ NAT Gateway

The same VPC can have completely different traffic paths depending on the subnet's route table.

That's why:

Public vs Private subnet = mostly a ROUTING decision. 🚨

If you understand route tables, VPC networking starts making MUCH more sense.
