Last week at init(), I shared the next chapter of WorkOS.
We’re building infrastructure for a world where humans and agents work together, and anyone can build software.
Three new products with live demos:
1) Airlock
• Give agents access without giving them unlimited access.
• Define your policies in natural language. Let agents work within them, block what’s off-limits, and escalate decisions that need a human.
• No more choosing between approving every action and "dangerously skip permissions." 🤖
2) Atlas
• Turn any idea into a secure internal app with your favorite coding agent.
• Auth, permissions, data connectors, databases, AI gateway, and deployment built in.
• A secure home for everything your team builds. 🌐
3) Passport
• Single-sign on is super annoying, so we fixed it.
• With WorkOS Passport, you're automatically signed in to all your apps.
• Zero sign-on. Just open your Mac and get to work.
We believe companies in this next era won’t simply use AI. They’ll be redesigned around intelligence. And the world will need new infrastructure to power this revolution.
That’s the future we’re building for. Full keynote below:
the world needs a standard for agent identity 🤖

@UIDAI Treating exact name match as strict unique identifiers is such a short-sighted design choice, especially for govt processes. Let users attach name variations and key off a numeric ID, with obvious guardrails against fraud. There’s significant GDP lost to fixing this mess.
@vladtenev Love your product and your obsession with craft, but could you apply that same rigor to support quality? I got two completely different responses to the exact same question—one from my account and one from my wife’s. Can DM details if needed.
One week until init() - the conference for builders 🔥
We have an absolutely killer lineup of speakers: @levie, @howietl, @swyx, @clairevo and more.
Best of all, it's free! There's a few spots left. RSVP now: https://t.co/UuWq5ZhmiJ
Sponsored by @Stripe@Cloudflare and @Databricks
AI runs on WorkOS.
From the fastest-growing startups to companies used by millions.
Still kind of wild to see them all in one place 🔥 https://t.co/TkMu60stvQ
We're making Git hosting more reliable, performant, and scalable.
This post traces 20 years of Git infrastructure and explains how that history led us to design and operate our Git storage, Origin, as if it were a database.

The team has been cooking up some really cool stuff. If you’re building agents, this event is for you.
Come join us tomorrow at the Regency Ballroom! 🙂
AGENT NIGHT is tomorrow at The Regency Ballroom 🌉

Today WorkOS is launching auth.md
An open protocol for agents to register for services on the web.
We're partnering with @Cloudflare and @Firecrawl as some of the first providers.
Why did we build this? And why now? 🧵
For the past several months, our engineering team has been building a new agentic coding system designed around a simple idea: the self-driving codebase.
These aren't just agents to write code on demand. They detect triggers, spin up secure sandboxes, gather dynamic context, open PRs, verify their work, unblock the next task, and learn from every failure.
We think the future of software engineering may look more like swarms of event-driven agents, running continuously, with humans setting direction and reviewing the work.
Ramp built Inspect. Stripe built Minions. Spotify built Honk.
We call ours Horizon. 🌅
