त्यसैगरी, “माउन्टेन क्विन” का रूपमा परिचित लाक्पा शेर्पाले आजै बिहान ९:३० बजे ११ औं पटक सगरमाथा आरोहण गर्दै महिला आरोहीमध्ये सबैभन्दा धेरै पटक सगरमाथा आरोहण गर्ने विश्व कीर्तिमान कायम गर्नुभएको छ।

निरन्तरको अदम्य साहस, कठोर आत्मअनुशासन र कर्मप्रतिको इमान्दार समर्पणले मात्रै यस्तो ऐतिहासिक सफलता प्राप्त हुन सक्दछ ।

खुसीको यो क्षणलाई सबैजनासँग साझा गर्दै दुबैजना आरोहीलाई हार्दिक बधाई तथा शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्दछु।

नेपालको पर्वतारोहण इतिहासमा शेर्पा समुदायको योगदान असाधारण र अनुपम छ। हिमाललाई ईश्वर झैं पुजन गर्ने, जोखिमलाई जिम्मेवारीका रूपमा स्वीकार गर्ने, र विश्वभरका आरोहीलाई सुरक्षित रूपमा शिखरसम्म पुर्‍याउने शेर्पाहरू वास्तवमै हिमालयका अदृश्य नायक हुन्। उनीहरूको साहस, ज्ञान र श्रम बिना हिमालको गौरव अधुरो रहन्छ।

वहाँहरूको यो सर्वोच्च सफलताले नेपालको पर्वतीय पर्यटनलाई अझ विश्वसनीय, गौरवपूर्ण र आकर्षक बनाउँदै अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जगतमा नेपालको पहिचानलाई अझ उज्यालो बनाउने विश्वास लिएको छु।
