If access to malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment services is sustained in the face of the lockdown then achieving Zero Malaria is possible.
Zero Malaria might mean Zero anaemia!
Zero Malaria might mean Zero Undernutrition!
Zero Malaria might mean reduced maternal and infant mortality rate and more productive front line health workers and ultimately Zero COVID-19.
Let's come together to achieve a Nigeria free of malaria

Pregnant women who need antenatal care but are uncertain about attending a clinic, and women in abusive relationships trapped at home during the lockdown are some of the risk groups at this time
Full maintenance of sexual and reproductive health services during this pandemic ought to include antenatal and postnatal care and access to modern and emergency contraception in all areas where services are likely to be impacted
The coronavirus outbreak may have severely disrupted access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and gender-based violence (GBV) services at a time when women and girls need these services most.
The lockdown may have severe consequences for women’s health, with spikes in domestic violence and maternal mortality as women may lose access to vital health services and social support.
