All of these will be “detected” as AI and there is a huge difference between this and slop fully generated by AI prompts.

I build ‘ontologies’ for work and sadly the original depth of the concept has been stripped and narrowed to be useful for computing.

@alagu_dev If I am investing time in a new language, I also want it to help me in systems programming. It does not make sense to get into memory unsafe language like C++ anymore. Rust and (arguably GO) fits really well. I have heard this rationale from others too.

If what Grigoriev proposes is true, shouldn't Sintashta show a genetic ancestry component arriving from contemporary Iran or northern Syria? Aren't they genetically closer to the eastern European steppe?

This is the last Figure in "Indo-Aryans in the Bronze Age" book by Stanislav Grigoriev (Archaeopress, 2025). It summarizes his view on the Southern arc migration of Indo-Aryans going North and then entering India from Central Asia. In the Second millennium, the book is a good reading for the alternate take, but as is pointed out has major holes.

This model is not accepted by many archaeologists and linguists. will give some references in 2 months.

Heggarty's Bayesian paper is often quoted as though it is "the Veda" of IA migration in India (the reasons are obvious), but his model has been shown to be 1000+ years too early by Linguists long ago.

The chariot arguments by Stanislav Grigoriev seems to have some validity, as Kunga drawn 4-wheeled chariots are seen in Sumeria, and IVC has the idea of mythical chariots from there. See my note on B. B. Lal's Kalibangan excavation report cover sketch.
