Everyone is mad at this guy but he's not really wrong. As someone who works in the music industry it took a while for me to come to terms with the fact that there's lots of music that's very popular even though I personally don't like it. A lot of people are extremely stupid.

AI music is now very, very good. You just don't know yet because all AI music circulating today is from ~2-3 generations ago.

@davidclowery I agree that it's terrible, my point is that lots of people listen to music that I consider terrible. You and I do not experience music the same way the average (or below-average) person does. It's not going to kill music but there is a real audience for this garbage.

I was in a waiting room this week and they were playing some AI music garbage on the TV. They used to play some generic EDM garbage playlist from YouTube. Some people actually enjoy this shit.
