Hello @BenHundeyin,
I’m writing to bring to your attention a deeply troubling incident involving some officers from the FCID Alagbon office in Ikoyi. Yesterday, they forcefully extorted ₦2 million from a young man whose only alleged offense was trading cryptocurrency.
According to the victim, the officers held him at gunpoint and compelled him to transfer ₦2 million to an account they provided. The funds do not belong to him, and he was not given any form of official documentation or charge. While he does not have their photos or contact information, he can identify the officers and the specific office where this abuse took place.
This is a serious violation of human rights and professional conduct. I am calling for an immediate investigation, a full refund of the extorted funds, and the appropriate disciplinary actions against the rogue officers involved.
I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.
