A huge thank you to all of our speakers, sponsors, staff and attendees for making #phpuk20 such a wonderful event! Videos will be up in a few weeks, so look out for the sessions you weren't able to attend. We hope to see all of you again next year!
Morning sessions continue with "In the world of Password123, be someone's #@%^)*!" by @ipsha21, "Serverless PHP applications with Bref" from @matthieunapoli , and the continuation of our two tutorials. #phpuk20
My @rustlang course is now open and free to watch until Dec 6! It's available on both @lynda and on #linkedinlearning platforms. 🤗🦊

Goal is to help a diverse set of students learn #rustlang so that they can build safe, fast applications. 🦀🐣▶️⚡🌏 https://t.co/wSIhkjpNdH
Stages of bringing new technology to market:
1. "Oh hell no."
2. "Politely, no, that technology would never work here."
4. "Neat, but not a priority for us."
5. "Maybe!"
6. "Actually nope, no budget."
7. "Well this is compelling."
8. "Where were you years ago?"
Why Falcon Heavy & Starman?
Life cannot just be about solving one sad problem after another. There need to be things that inspire you, that make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity. That is why we did it. We did for you.

We enabled service worker BackgroundSync for logging requests in Pinterest's mobile #pwa and are recovering ~370k requests/day. Each of those requests contains multiple logs. That's amazing! Going to ship that experiment today for sure.
@miss_jwo "No one wakes up wanting to see you fail."
Obvious as it may sound, there's something so reassuring about it.
Thanks @miss_jwo, this is gonna stay with me for a long time!
Seeing so many #phpuk18 attendees most inspired by @ipsha21#PWA and Service Worker talk, I though it might be helpful sharing @codepo8 recent talk recorded at #CodeNode@skillsmatter: https://t.co/ANgs3n7DGu
Great seeing @ipsha21 from @mozTechSpeakers coming all the way from India to enlighten us at #phpuk18 on the mighty ‘Service Workers and their role in PWAs’.
