@Arnbeg AI π "Rabbits can suffer fatal heart attacks from the intense fear of being flipped. Large livestock can succumb to internal organ damage if they fall and get wedged against a heavy object". So it looks like sheep are the only mammals that can freestyle a supine death roll.
@MaxJLHardy My favourite was a disclosure into family proceedings in which all the names in a multi-family punch-up were redacted. Now, that presented some challenges for risk assessment.
@kyr_dreamer@SpencrGreenberg In 18th & 19th century, pineapples weren't imported bulk crops, they were carefully cultivated in small batches under heated glass, by skilled horticulturalists. Who knows if they were as perfect as often painted, but they may well have been.
@alisonbeach611@PaulSuttonKing Ah! But insist that Google distinguishes between Belisha, the politician who introduced it, and those who actually thought it up!
@PaulSuttonKing@alisonbeach611 And now I've been down a rabbit hole to urgently discover who designed the Belisha beacon. The closest I have got is https://t.co/ZtVQZ634Fb
@Bricktop_NAFO They were trespassing. No evidence they were thieves. That means there were no legal grounds for arrest or restraint by either the police or a citizen. The National Farmers' Union offer good advice on how to deal with trespassers on farmland.
@KitzingerCelia Lots to be said about this! Just 3 points: much less regard is given to LPoA in overstretched & under-resourced services. Needs assessments are performatively detailed, but do not determine the reality of care provided. Having always to flex LPoA in decision making is exhausting
@ReshapersCIC Having read & thought about it, I think it's a worthy if complex proposal. But I don't see anything that will mitigate the shocking & constitutional lack of empathy, compassion and insight that still characterise so many letters, decisions & statements. I mean, Soul Survivor?π«£
@AndhaBandar@DrJessTaylor Some cases are 'pushed' from public to private law. If an allegation is made by a child with separated parents, social services advise mother to stop contact. If she does, thus (technically) removing risk, SS may withdraw. In response alleged perpetrator -> private law.
