@newschannelnine I count 16 times the SRO asking nicely.
Looks like it was unknown what he was going to do to avoid complying.
Legit action by the SRO.
Only problem I have is the officer’s language.
@ThisDoesNotComp I bet that was in a server room somewhere. I worked a server farm for a few months and every time I had to go in there it was like 90°
@beepbeepbeepin1@WKleniec@BackpackerFI True it’s not unlimited but, I’d repeat, if you put proceeds from the sale of a house into the purchase of a new house - in particular - above a 10% down payment to buy points, you should have no taxes. There are income level restrictions too.
Always consult a tax professional.
@_mostlywater@BackpackerFI Huh?
Most states don’t allow any “misdeeds” in mortgages except front loaded interest which must be disclosed to you in a payment schedule.
@CMoneyKS@BackpackerFI I couldn’t believe some of my neighbors at 8%. I begged them to refinance and just keep making the same payment. Only one refinanced. They are literally paying 1/3 more for their homes than I am.
@WKleniec@BackpackerFI Yeah you can, with that amount you have for down payment and no tax because of like kind - you should be able to buy enough points for a sub 4% mortgage with no monthly PMI.
@BackpackerFI Except, even the best credit rating with 10-20% down didn’t get below 2.75%.
UNLESS you bought points.
You can still get somewhere around 3.75% if you put $200k down
