When ministry feels heavy, lonely, or unclear… you don’t have to white‑knuckle your way through it.
The Unquittable Church exists to help mentors, pastors, and leaders prevent brokenness, burnout, and boredom—and build ministries marked by healing, rest, and purpose.
If you’re ready for practical tools, honest conversations, and a community that refuses to quit on the Church or each other, start here:

Your calling matters too much to carry it alone. Let’s build something healthier together.
Bitter. Lukewarm. Burnt.
No, we’re not talking about the free coffee. ☕️
We’re talking about how a lot of us actually feel in our faith right now.
Some of us are carrying bitterness from church hurt we never asked for.
Some of us are lukewarm — not because we don’t care, but because life and disappointment slowly turned the temperature down.
Some of us are burnt out — running on fumes, wondering how much longer we can keep showing up.
If any of that hits a little too close… you’re not crazy, and you’re not alone.
Jesus doesn’t shame the bitter, the lukewarm, or the burnt. He meets us there. He restores what got crushed. He rekindles what went cold. And He rebuilds what we thought was beyond saving.
You don’t have to stay in this season.
You don’t have to quit.
You can become unquittable.
Which one have you been feeling lately — bitter, lukewarm, or burnt? Drop it in the comments. No judgment here. Just real talk and real hope.
@JoshuaBarzon Scripture is clear that parents bear the main responsibility (Deut. 6, Eph. 6). A healthy youth ministry supports that instead of undermining it. What’s worked well in your experience?
So many of us were taught (sometimes without words) that God was keeping a running tally. One step forward, two steps back. Grace felt fragile — like it could be revoked the moment we messed up again.
But the mercy that actually raised you from death to life? It doesn’t operate that way. It doesn’t keep receipts. It doesn’t bring up old seasons to disqualify your current one. When that truth finally lands in your heart instead of just sitting in your head, healing stops feeling like another program you have to complete and starts feeling like the natural overflow of being truly known and still fully loved.
If your spiritual life feels more like a polite book club than a resurrection-powered uprising, we wrote something that might actually wake your hope back up. Head to https://t.co/MWsfHX2yCI and check out the latest in our “Who You Are Now” series on Ephesians 1. Your eyes — and your heart — will thank you.

Life feels like a group chat with everyone yelling? Paul drops the plot twist: God’s summing up heaven and earth under Jesus’ head — no more chaos committee meetings. You’re not a background extra. You’re cast in the finale where everything gets headed-up. Church bored you because it forgot the cosmic mic drop.
Still treating Jesus like a boss who might dock your pay for taking a mental health day? Paul laughs: God lavished grace on you — dumped the whole bottle, not a polite splash. Blood paid full price. You’re not on layaway. Stop auditioning for love that already got Venmo’d in crimson.

Church ever make you feel like the kid who got picked last for the holy kickball team? Newsflash: God chose you before the world hit ‘play.’ Holy. Blameless. In His eyes, zero faults. Not because you nailed the quiet time streak—because He’s extra like that. You were the prize, not the problem. So quit the performance anxiety spiral. Laugh in the face of that last church’s rejection. You’re pre-approved, baby.
Chosen Before the World Hit Play
Scripture:
1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
Reflection:
Before atoms, galaxies, or your great-grandpa’s first bad decision, God looked at the hot mess you’d become and still said, “That one. Mine.” Not because you were impressive. Because He’s that extra. Church hurt made you feel like the spiritual reject who got voted off the island. 1 Peter flips the script: you’re the royal priesthood now. Holy? Set apart. Blameless? In His eyes, yes—because you’re chosen in Christ. Performance anxiety can take a seat.
Unquittable Action:
To Prevent Burnout: Monitor Workload and Give Rest
Practice:
Audit your calendar like a loving Father would. What one thing are you still doing “for God” that’s actually just for approval? Cut it or delegate it today. Then text your crew: “I’m resting because I’m already chosen—join me?” Nap, walk, stare at clouds. Rest is holy now.

Hey, church casualty—tired of being treated like a spiritual Uber driver who only gets five stars if you volunteer till you puke? Ephesians 1:3 says you’re already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Not some. Not after you fix your crap. All of it. Before you even tried to impress Him. So stop racking up heavenly points like it’s a bad loyalty app. You’re not earning squat—you’re already loaded. Drop the hustle, gorgeous. That’s who you are now.

Already Blessed – No Hustle Required
Scripture:
2 Peter 1:3 (NIV)
“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”
Reflection:
Church turned blessings into a cosmic loyalty program: rack up enough quiet times, casseroles, and “yes sir”s and maybe God throws you a bone. 2 Peter laughs in that face and says you already have everything you need. Not some. Not after you fix your mess. Every spiritual goodie is already stamped “delivered” because you’re in Christ. You’re not a spiritual beggar; you’re a walking inheritance check. Stop performing for what’s already yours, you gorgeous church casualty.
Unquittable Action:
To Prevent Brokenness: Actively Listen and Encourage Speaking
Practice:
Grab your phone or a mirror and read 2 Peter 1:3 out loud like you mean it. Then text one other burnt-out believer: “I’m already blessed with everything I need—what’s one way that wrecks your old script today?” Listen to their answer. No fixing, just affirming.
Prayer:
Jesus, I’m done earning what You already handed me on a platter. Help me listen to Your “already blessed” voice louder than the old church noise. And give me the guts to speak it over someone else today. Amen.

Pew Research keeps dropping the receipts: millions of us (nearly 30% of U.S. adults now) have quietly ghosted the faith we grew up in. Not because we hate Jesus. Because the version of “church” we got felt more like a loyalty program than a family reunion. Good news? This passage isn’t another guilt-trip guilt trip. It’s the mic drop that says you were never the problem. You were the prize.
