my most pretentious take is that ppl should be more comfortable with having to read/learn words they don’t know,,, use context clues, open a dictionary, look the word up idc!! there’s so many ways to expand your vocabulary and comprehension and yet we’re encouraging illiteracy—

the writing is very simplistic but it makes up in character arcs and political intrigue.. honestly it feels very much like a fantasy shounen anime to me 😭😭
i've noticed a lot more people having no patience for a developing storyline, slower paced plots, & ambiguity and i think media binge culture has directly contributed to people needing all questions answered immediately instead of waiting for a series to progress and conclude
