Merry Christmas and Happy new year from the Vallier Lab. After 2 years of installation, we are now up and running. Looking forward to an exciting year 2025 full of publications, grants, fun and happiness.
Super happy/proud/honored to have been awarded an ERC advanced grant: Fun-Chol for Function of Cholangiocytes in chronic liver diseases. Very grateful for the ERC to support once again the research of @VallierLab team.

Our new work is out today! Long time in the oven, this has been a really fun and informative collaboration led by Dhanur Iyer in my lab and @HK_Heidar from @NRivron lab. We show that human embryonic cells have an inherent potential to regulate their developmental timing.
📢 Check out this episode with Dr. Ludovic Vallier (@VallierLab) from @Berlinnovation and @MPI_MolGen!
He discusses modeling #NAFLD, his lab's pivot to SARS-CoV-2 research early in the pandemic, and #CellTherapy for #LiverDisease.

Join us at #ISSCR2024! Attend Ludovic Vallier talk on Thursay and meet the entire/full amazing @VallierLab! We will be all there for lot of science, lot of fun! @ISSCR
Human TFs face a molecular trade-off between activity and specificity encoded as submaximal dispersion of aromatic residues in their disordered regions. A collaborative effort of @dhnisz, @VingronLab and Graf Lab published today in @NatureCellBio https://t.co/OkvRuF6nhT
Today at the Summer Liver Academy Meeting (SLAM) @Frau_Carla@VallierLab will present a talk on "Molecular mechanisms of human ductular reaction during progression of chronic liver disease and liver cancer" and will receive the Trainee Scholar Award on Thursday!
1/2 The presence of extraembryonic cells in the developing gut has long puzzled scientists. @BatkiJulia (l) and @hetzel_s (r) (#Meissner lab) now gained new insight into the fate and molecular characteristics of these cells. @NatureCellBio Read more: https://t.co/YOHN9v4VxK
Humbled & excited that our paper on molecular recording of cellular decision in Trunk-Like Structures (TLS) got featured on the cover of @Dev_Cell! w/ B. Law, M. Chan @Princeton, Z. Smith @Yale, A. Meissner @MPI_MolGen & @jvveenvliet!
