Political rivals of Mamdani try to discredit him by mongering fear of Muslim replacing the current US Law with Sharia Law. This utterly stupid because Sharia Law is not implemented as state law even in many big muslim majority countries e.g. Indonesia, Bangladesh, etc.

Even in the biggest Muslim majority countries like Indonesia and Bangladesh (more than 200 million Muslims each), Sharia Law is not implemented as state Law

@PensilAajaib Saya lebih setuju adanya sertifikasi haram dimana penjual yg mengetahui adanya zat yg haram (babi, alkohol) wajib mencantumkan label haram di produknya, ketimbang sertifikasi halal karena yg haram itu adalah pengecualian, jumlahnya jauh lebih sedikit daripada yg halal
