@goat_poaster The relevance is the principle, not the specifics. She challenged an unjust legally enforced practice. The residents protest is likewise, about peacefully challenging something unjust. You don’t need the situations to be identical for the analogy to be relevant.

@AdamPollock Rosa parks was arrested for doing what was right. Slavery was once law, segregated bathrooms was once law, white only seats on buses was once law…historically the law isn’t always right, and you have to challenge when it’s wrong with protest. Connect the dots.
