Steer clear of debates and criticism, which are all a waste of time and energy. Say and text only the good things people need to hear, what will really help them. Pray. Love Jesus. Love your family. Become a saint. The devil is active in distracting us.

One of my favorite stories we heard from last year:

‘I am a young married mother of 3 little girls, but had been, for the last several years, addicted to drugs and alcohol and involved in a long standing affair.

My husband found out. Left me. And took the kids.

I was broken into a million pieces. Everything I loved had left me. I was alone. I thought often I’d be better off dead.

But then I saw a post from @markwahlberg telling me I should pray.

It was just too strange. This guy from the movies telling me to pray.

So I downloaded the app and gave it a try.

And I realized something.

I was broken. Alone. In a million pieces.

But someone was still there with me.

Jesus.

He picked me back up. He put me together again. He saved my life.

I got sober. I broke off the affair. My husband miraculously forgave me. Our families back together again.’

Reposting a SEEK story

Eight years ago, Sr. Kathryne of the Holy Trinity Cornista Lopez, Sr. Lourdes of the Holy Eucharist Rebecca Furnells and Sr. Tonia of the Heart of Jesus Borsellino were students at the University of Florida. All three were in various stages of discerning a vocation to religious life when they attended the FOCUS SEEK 2015 conference. The first picture was taken during the conference. Their individual paths led them to join the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament at different times and they are now all Temporary Professed Sisters!
