I saw my gp yesterday and got to finally tell her I now have a job.
She has been my primary dr for over 15 years now and has seen me at my worst. She knows my struggles and seeing how genuinely happy she was for me was great.
Dr V reminds me that there are good doctors out there.
She acknowledges that she doesn’t know everything but even then she apologises for not recognising symptoms of something that isn’t her area of expertise (for example, my autism).
first day of my first job done!
I was so anxious. There were many uncertainties and it’s completely new territory so I’m ready proud of myself for pushing through the anxiety.
It was a lot of induction info but it went so well and everyone is lovely 🥰
new and unknown experiences are tough for my autistic brain. Add the constant, disheartening rejections and embarrassment from lack of experience & grades to the list and it’s little wonder why I hate applying.
I stg if i see or hear of anyone walking their pets in this heat i will personally come find you and force you to wear a heated blanket, 7 hot water bottles and a thermal coat xo
