@CasMudde I suppose that's partly why as an early career scholar I don't wish to continue inUK academia 😂No holidays (unless trying to publish,applying for more $ & other jobs counts..),insecure contracts,poor pay etc. How do you know when you *are* motivated? How does it feel in ur body?

@CasMudde Thanks for your honesty Cas Mudde. Who says you have to remain an academic at all..? Perhaps your lack of motivation at present is telling you something deeper worth listening to. Namely that the academy has lost its way. Time to exit? Is motivation an index of social connection?
