At Stratford St Mary. An independent franchise on a main truck road where prices are normally higher due to the captive market, still able to make a profit at this price so why are the Colchester supermarkets with their buying power ripping us off 10-14p a litre?
@ColchesterLab can you ask your MP Pam Cox to investigate why the people of Colchester are being ripped off on fuel prices. Compare these prices from today, June 3rd, for Diesel in Colchester and Ipswich. And that doesn't even show the cheapest which is £171.9 @ Esso on the A12
@Colchesterviews I agree. When I first saw this I thought he was the family lawyer. A pointless loss of life enhanced by Policing incompetence and a huge set back for the Sikh community.
@Colchesterviews@ColchesterLab@LScordis Labour imploding, it's great to see
Would rather have a council of independents anytime over ones that just tow the party line regardless of the local issues. Let the MP's deal with the National stuff and keep local councils for local matters.
@Colchesterviews Amaaz has previously been found guilty of assaulting the female officers.
"Amaaz was previously convicted of assaulting two female officers, PC Lydia Ward and PC Ellie Cook, and a Starbucks customer during the same alleged incident. He will be sentenced on 26 June." BBC News.
@dinowr@Colchesterviews It's not that field, it's the large parcel of land west if that and both North and South of the river. If they ever allow building of new homes on any of that site that will be me done with Colchester for good. It needs to stay been belt. Wish I had the £'s to buy it.
@Colchesterviews Kier the stay. Unless you are a Labour voter who would you want them to have a good PM in the lead up to an election? And yes I know that's years away but still........
@wilkina50@Colchesterviews@UKLabour@ColchesterLab This is what I hate about politics. Your MP should be able to always have a free vote to back their voters, not be told how they Have to vote. It's why successive governments are out of touch with the population.
I noticed today when I voted that they scan a code on your ballot papers before giving them to you. I don't recall them doing that previously? My worry is that officials can now see who every person has voted for by scanning the paper to find who it was issued to.
Or is that just because of the upcoming works to build the new cycle lane. It would be more appropriate to use the area behind Firstsite or the bus bays on Lexden Rd near the old hospital for this purpose. I await your comments.
@yourcolchester without going into politics of the mini buses for Wethersfield migrants have the council given permission for the buses to drop off and pick up in the Vineyard Street carpark? I wasn't aware that the area has planning/legal right to be used by mini buses this way
And I've witnessed on a number of occasions buses blocking the movement of other vehicles whilst they unload and load passengers when multiple mini buses arrive at once plus passengers blocking the cycle path. Why were they moved from the top of East Hill
@Colchesterviews Noooo..... I was only discussing Badger with my mates last week. Nick was our neighbour in Marks Tey when he moved to Col U, was best man at my wedding and our son was page boy at Nick's wedding. We moved away and grew apart but he was always in my thoughts. RiP Badger - ColU⭐
@Colchesterviews @FA_PGMOL Imagine a world where they had a 4th official, a sub if you like, ready to step in immediately should there be any physical or operational concerns with the starting officials. Probably never catch on.........
@AldiUK how long does your customer service team take to reply to emails? I contacted them 7 days ago with a complaint about a purchase and haven't had any response, is that normal? How long should I expect to wait?
