my perfect linux music player didn't exist, so i wrote it. i've been daily driving it for three years
freewave: an album-focused Subsonic/MPD GUI. first public release today
@joshua_p_jung Well the first item is most certainly not true because there was one just today in a most certainly NOT contested district in Chicagoland... so just use some sense and maybe look stories up before you repost them as though they're fact.
@joshua_p_jung Yeah, that is true, and I do recall that, however, it is still a fact that Russia initiated the invasion into Ukraine. Whether or not one agrees with the NATO policy and keeping bases in Eastern Europe doesn't change that.
@joshua_p_jung I think he's wrong, to be clear, I agree with your original tweet. What gives indeed though... But I don't for a second think he's in possession of some great intel that no other country has, or no other journalism org has. That seems very unlikely.
. @realDonaldTrump, you implied something today which made me think -
If 1000 nurses (say 2 hospitals in NYC) treat 30 patients a day and change their masks per safety guidelines each time, that’s 30K masks. Over a 10 day period, that’s 300K masks. No conspiracy, just math.
Very well stated view on the power dynamics in software engineering, and how we all need to be more cognizant of them, and rethink how we interact with coworkers of all stripes, but in particular, those who are not in a place of the same privilege we might be. https://t.co/nuwKCLgTHh
1. The more dynamics you're on the upward side of, the more you take cues from your pair.
Let them speak first. Be mindful of interrupting. Catch your reactions to their words on the way out, & do a post-processing pass to consider whether your reaction is due to the dynamic.
