Ashraf Khan, 81, was jailed after it was discovered he had fathered three children with his own daughter, making him both their father and grandfather.

I have said this repeatedly. Sexual abuse of Muslim girls within the home is massively under-discussed, and under-reporting matters when people throw around headline statistics about the ethnicity of sex offenders. If victims cannot or do not report abuse, those crimes do not appear properly in the data.

The statistics are only as reliable as the reporting behind them.

A 14-year-old boy repeatedly stabbed a 14-year-old girl with a kitchen knife because she wouldn’t date him.

He didn’t go to prison.

She now says she’s scared wherever she goes. As the mother of a 14-year-old girl, this makes me so angry. Where is the justice for her?

Rehabilitation matters, but so do consequences. So does protecting the victim. So does protecting the next girl. Detention as a “last resort” cannot mean “no serious consequence” for serious crimes.

Sentencing isn’t only about the offender. It’s about the victim. It’s about protecting the next potential victim. And it’s about making absolutely clear where society draws the line.

Our youth sentencing laws need an overhaul.
This isn’t shoplifting. This isn’t a stupid teenage mistake. This was a girl being repeatedly stabbed because she said no.

Serious crimes need serious consequences. Being under 18 cannot be a get-out-of-jail-free card.

A WOMAN WAS RAPED ON A MIGRANT BOAT. MORE THAN A DOZEN NEVER MADE IT TO SHORE.

A woman survived five days on an Atlantic boat.

Others did not. Three bodies came out of the water. More than a dozen people on that crossing are believed dead.

When she reached Lanzarote she said several men on the boat had raped her.
Police arrested three suspects.

A witness said he saw it. They are in custody. They have not been convicted.
She needed hospital care.

Some others came off the boat with injuries and bite marks.

Why the hell do we want these scumbag monsters in our country to do this with our women and children.

He was sentenced to 12 months.

The man on the right is father of 2, Del Somerville. He threw a plastic bottle and swore at police.

He was sentenced to TWO YEARS.

Sentenced to a two year prison sentence.

The judge said it would act 'as a deterrent'

Now, let me be abundantly clear.

I do not believe that any violence against the police is acceptable.

I also do not believe that a two year prison sentence is appropriate, particularly when we are allowing paedophiles and rapists to roam our streets because of a supposed lack of prison capacity.

The BBC reports the man 'said he had found the bottle on the ground and was going to throw it into a nearby bush, but was angry and so threw it up into the air.'

Reportedly, he told the officers to 'f*** off' and 'pointed aggressively' at them (ITV).

I can understand the anger, to be honest. This was happening as illegal migrants were being ferried into his town.

This sentence is unfair, unjust and morally wrong.

Let's be honest about what has happened here.

The establishment is making an example of this man to deter others from protesting.

A two year sentence is absolutely outrageous - there are far better ways for him to make right the wrong.

The third world invaders are greeted to luxury accommodation as heroes, yet this man will rot in prison.

It's not right.
