We call upon the world not to look aside or keep silent as this tragedy unfolds. All world leaders with a conscience should urgently step in and stop this slaughter.

The crisis in Sudan is sadly one of the consequences of a leader who did not plan for a peaceful transition when he had an opportunity to, until he was pushed out by the people - leaving behind a fractured nation.
