Fable | Combat Details and Previews

▪️Evolves the classic "Strength, Skill and Will" systems of Fable 1-3
▪️You can seamlessly switch between melee, ranged and magic
▪️Variety of melee weapons, two-handed "Bower Hammer" is slower and more powerful and can take out weak enemies in one hit
▪️Hero can dodge and parry, weapon-specific finisher moves
▪️Spells: Hold right trigger and cast spells from any of the four face buttons
▪️Spells include Fireball, Lightning, Blades (phantom daggers), Lift, Rush, Push, and more
▪️"Befowl" spell lets you turn people into chickens
▪️Casting Befowl on undead enemies turns them into undead chickens
▪️Multiple types of ranged weaponry - ex. Deepwood Bow has slower draw speed but high accuracy while Repeater Crossbow lets you shoot a hail of weaker bolts at high speed
▪️Ranged attacks are beneficial for hitting weak spots effectively
▪️Shooting unarmed enemies in the leg causes them to stumble
▪️Systems come together intuitively: "use a spell to impede a group of weaker enemies, use a ranged attack to stagger a stronger foe, then set them up for a finisher with melee"
▪️No diving into menus or loadout bars, "just a clear set of abilities" to capitalize on
▪️Many varieties of enemies: "Hollow Folk" are skeleton enemies in multiple forms (melee, ranged, armored etc). Wraiths are fast flying ghosts.
▪️Lantern Keeper is a mini-boss, large and slow but able to fly with a big healthbar
