There's a dangerous wager being played here. If you think the Pope wrong and the excommunications invalid and you're right... you gain very little. If you're wrong... you commit a very serious sin and gravely endanger your soul.
Let us ask Mary, Queen of Peace, to teach us to renounce hurtful words, hasty judgment, gossip, and slander. May we learn to cherish and nurture love within our families, among friends, in the workplace, on social media, in political debates, and in Christian communities, so that hatred may give way to hope and peace. #ApostolicJourney
Connecting young people to digital networks serves no purpose if they remain disconnected from themselves, others, and their own interiority. We must help young people rediscover silence, reflection, the ability to ask questions, the depth of relationships, and openness to transcendence. To listen to the soul, we must lend an ear, because the soul's voice is not a shout, but a whisper.
Deep inner suffering inevitably arises when the human person is reduced to performance, consumption, or a statistical datum. Many young people today live under the yoke of expectations to perform, immersed in an exasperated competitiveness that generates anxiety, fear of not measuring up, and disorientation.
“and the world once again will come to recognize the human heart as the place where God desires to dwell.” – Pope Leo XIV, Magnifica Humanitas
this sentence is so beautiful.
@MagdalenesAngel Especially for a first date because it relieves some of the pressure that would come with a dinner date. Also easier to leave if needed lol.
The SSPX say that they are likely “going to be excommunicated”
Saint Augustine says the “worst sin is schism” because schism is a total erasure of charity between brothers in Christ & prevents resolution.
