I admired the team’s bravery fighting racism in the 1930s during segregation. I learned about Wiley College and how debate challenged injustice and discrimination in America. How can people today use their voices for change and stand up for what’s right?

I thought the great debaters was a great movie because it was inspiring and powerful. It showed how brave the students were during a hard time in history, and it was very interesting to learn about.
