These past 4 weeks on an eating disorder (ED) ward has flown by! It’s opened my eyes to the world of EDs and the struggles patients go through on their path to recovery. It’s such a complex recovery journey requiring extensive support from the staff.

He mentioned newer treatments for TRD such as the use of Ketamine and Vagus Nerve Stimulation. Definitely need to have a read into these treatments! 🤔 2/2
Yesterday we had a talk from Prof Chee Ng about Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD) and the numerous definitions and approaches in the Asia Pacific Region. He shared about his study to find a consensus definition for TRD to help guide diagnosis and clinical management of TRD 1/2
Survived the first week of MH placement! The first few days were initially challenging to adjust from medically ill patients to mentally ill patients. Despite the differences, really seeing how fundamental empathy & therapeutic listening is to each and every patient. @MHR5000818
Found this really helpful to understand the deeper roots of eating disorders. It’s not just a body-image issue but can be one part of their lives to control when everything else seems to be out of control. @MHR5000818 https://t.co/PaFu8BS4eL
