It was a privilege and a pleasure to speak at the Desi Dhaakad Sustainability Excellence Awards 2026 at the NSE Atrium, BKC, Mumbai, as the Guest of Honour.
The theme of the conversation was powerful and deeply relevant to India’s development journey:
“Dhaakad Vision for Viksit Bharat: Women’s Roles in Reimagining India’s Sustainable Future by 2047.”

For me, the discussion sat at the intersection of three national priorities:
Women-led development.
Sustainable growth.
Viksit Bharat@2047.

A sustainable and developed India will not merely be built for women. It will be built by women.
Across Bharat, women are already leading the last mile of water conservation, clean energy, circularity, sustainable livelihoods, climate resilience and community transformation.
The next step is to connect their leadership with capital, markets and scale.
Women are not merely beneficiaries of Viksit Bharat. They are its builders.
Grateful to have joined this powerful platform celebrating India’s women changemakers shaping the future from the grassroots.
Congratulations to the Desi Dhaakad team for building a platform that recognises and amplifies the work of women who deserve national visibility.

@Effotelhotel pathetic in service . At the charge of 9k per night , the quality , service is extremely sub standard. Housekeeping does not even have a checklist to see if towels are kept in the room - you come at night and realise no towels, no hand towels . Utmost Disappointed

@airindia please be sure which gate AI 637 to Ahmedabad is leaving . It’s 6.15 pm for. a 6.35 pm and I’ve received 5 different calls of 3 different gates in last 10 mins ! Get your act together. Your staff is struggling and pity them for being clueless

@AmexIndia ridiculous - yr employees mess up my name after 12 yrs of card & ask me KYC docs to rectify it. First have to call Contact centre, explain fr 15 mins, get assures it will be done & then get mail asking for docs. I'd rather not own AMEX card with such lax systems.
